For our next Featured Bartender we traveled all the way to Chicago, IL to find Carlos Ferniza III, at the popular 260 Sports Bar which is real close to New Comiskey Park, home to the Chicago White Sox and Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears. Carlos has been pouring drinks at 260 Sports Bar since April and has been a professional bartender for over 6 years at clubs, dive bars, sports bars, and fine dining establishments. Although Carlos enjoys pouring cocktails, he personally appreciates a shot of Jameson and a Miller High Life. Carlos favors such great jazz classics like Bitches Brew, from Miles Davis and Love Supreme, from John Coltrane. He also cherishes some quintessential heavy metal, like Master of Puppets, from Metallica, for his listening pleasure. When he's at the 260 Sports bar he admires the sweet sounds of the band Cowboy Mouth, and some beats by DJ Jesse De La Pena. His favorite superhero is Superman. You can catch Carlos at the 260 Sports Bar during the day shift or on weekends when he closes the bar.

It was 1946 when the great Ricobenes started serving up great breaded steak sandwiches and quickly became successful. They now have multiple restaurants throughout the city of Chicago. Their latest venture is 260 Sports Bar which is located on the third floor of the building and sits on top of a banquet hall called "Galleria." The first floor will be home to "Gemellato," a fine dine Italian restaurant slated to open soon. The 260 Sports Bar opened in late December of 2010 and has been a Chicago hot spot ever since.

The 260 Sports Bar is Chicano's Premier Southside Sports Bar. It's a fantastic place before and after Chicago Bears and White Sox games, with a free shuttle to and from the game. They even have free parking across the street. This bar is loaded with 11 beers on tap, a few wines and a full bar with daily drink specials. They have a signature 46oz Martini that is priced by well, call, or top shelf. They also have some tasty grinds like Maryland Crab Cakes, Pulled Pork Spring Rolls, Hand Cut Cottage Fries and some savory burgers and sandwiches. The Bridgeport neighborhood attracts all kinds to the 260 Sports Bar including teachers, union workers, party goers, professionals, and college students from DePaul, UIC, and Columbia College. They also sponsor local sports teams. The best nights are with the Miller, Jager, Jack Daniels and Pucker Girls promotion teams. Tuesday through Saturday nights are a blast when they have Open Mic, Trivia Wednesday's, Bags tournaments, Karaoke and Live Bands. When the Sox or Bears are playing it's always a good time.

Stop by the 260 Sports Bar in Chicago, say "hello" to Carlos and enjoy an unforgettable experience.
