As we all know, it's the bartender that really makes the difference when you order a drink. No two bartenders pour the same drink, they have their own personal style and we wouldn't ask for their secrets. Here at Tip Your Bartender we try to give you an accurate recipe for the drinks we sample but recipe’s do vary from bar and bartender.
.
We entered the bar on a Tuesday night. Nobody was there. We bellied up to the bar and asked for a “Bomb on a Bus.” The bartender had no idea what we were talking about, as we suspected. We explained we wanted an Irish Car Bomb but instead of Guinness we wanted Newcastle. The guy next to us was wanted one as well. She whipped them up.

We had mixed feelings about the drink. We both thought it was a Root Beer version, with the Newcastle, compared to the milk shake version, with the Guinness. I preferred the Irish Car Bomb and Luke preferred the Newcastle. Over all the drink hit it’s mark, tasty and quenching, refreshing and filling. Good drink.
