As we all know, it's the bartender that really makes the difference when you order a drink. No two bartenders pour the same drink, they have their own personal style and we wouldn't ask for their secrets. Here at Tip Your Bartender we try to give you an accurate recipe for the drinks we sample but recipe’s do vary from bar and bartender.

For the first time in TYB history we made our own drinks to critique. (Tough economic times calls for desperate measures, we ALWAYS tip our bartenders.) We whipped up a couple of “Roy-al with Cheese” drinks in the TYB Jamboree. We were very disappointed. All you could taste was Red Bull. Not that we don’t like Red Bull but we thought is was a waste of a totally good shot of Crown Royal. In conclusion, we found the Roy-al with Cheese had a catchy name for a weak drink.

1 shot of Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
half a pint of Red Bull

Drop the shot of Crown Royal into the half pint of Red Bull and slam.
