As we all know, it's the bartender that really makes the difference when you order a drink. No two bartenders pour the same drink, they have their own personal style and we wouldn't ask for their secrets. Here at Tip Your Bartender we try to give you an accurate recipe for the drinks we sample but recipe’s do vary from bar and bartender.

The Small Bomb

The Small Bomb was a burst of disappointment, followed by a damaging headache. It had the character of spiked super sweet Kool Aid, or Crystal Light, with an explosive alcohol kick.

We feel this drink is named properly, it was a small bomb, but in the worst ways. The sweet Grenadine was way too dominating in the tiny shot glass but added a nice red hue to the beverage. The Vodka and Triple sec after-taste had a dynamite surprise and left you with a alarming buzz. Just one shot and we and we knew we were in for a great headache and hangover. We stopped at one.

In conclusion, we feel this drink missed it’s mark and was a real bomb. We wouldn’t recommend this shot to anyone, even the novice drinker who likes things sweet. You’re better off having a shot of Kettle One, or a Breathalyzer, just as strong with little or no hangover.
