As we all know, it's the bartender that really makes the difference when you order a drink. No two bartenders pour the same drink, they have their own personal style and we wouldn't ask for their secrets. Here at Tip Your Bartender we try to give you an accurate recipe for the drinks we sample but recipe’s do vary from bar and bartender.

TYB took a stroll down to one of our favorite bars and met up with two of our favorite bartenders, Erica and Kelly at the Nuthouse. We also ran into some old time friends from grammar school who we haven’t seen in years, Chris and Nina. We had a few beers and laughs, and reminisced about old times, then we got down to bussiness. We developed a craving for something classic with a splash of drinkability, it wasn’t Budweiser. We decided on a Washington Apple. Erica whipped up the shooter in no time. The Canadian Whisky and Sour Apple Pucker schnapps counter balance each other and provide a flavorful delight. We took our time sipping on the cocktail and enjoyed every last quenching drop. This cocktail could cost $7 at some places, Crown Royal can be exspensive, but at the Nuthouse it’s under $4. Enjoy a burst of fruity flavor the next time you’re at the bar with a Washington Apple.
