As we all know, it's the bartender that really makes the difference when you order a drink. No two bartenders pour the same drink, they have their own personal style and we wouldn't ask for their secrets. Here at Tip Your Bartender we try to give you an accurate recipe for the drinks we sample but recipe’s do vary from bar and bartender.
The Oatmeal Cookie is a favorite amongst the younger patrons providing an earthy taste of a homemade treat. This beverage has all the right ingredients including Jagermeister, Goldschlager, Bailey's and butterscotch schnapps, but it lacks character and flavor. The cookie tasted like a licorice butterscotch, nothing like grandmas tasty goodness. Although this drink didn’t blast us with sweetness, we still didn’t want the secret recipe. We personally found the drink as dull as your grandma’s wooden spoon stuck in a bowl of dough. Nothing compares to a freshly baked oatmeal cookie.
