As we all know, it's the bartender that really makes the difference when you order a drink. No two bartenders pour the same drink, they have their own personal style and we wouldn't ask for their secrets. Here at Tip Your Bartender we try to give you an accurate recipe for the drinks we sample but recipe’s do vary from bar and bartender.

The Uzura shooter in my opinion is one of the most unique drinks in the world. What makes this drink so interesting is that you consume it with food, obviously food and beverage complement each other like no other. The first part of this drink is important, the oyster shooter (no alcohol.) The oyster must be prepared with a splash of lemon , onion and Japanese hot sauce. All these ingredients prep your taste glands for the drink to come. (Very delicious.) Now it’s time for the shooter. At first look at the Uzura shooter you see the quail egg, onions and sesame seeds afloat. With one quick motion you take the shot. Bottoms up! This drink goes down really smooth. You can’t taste the sake at all. It’s more like your drinking a piece of sushi. The quail egg is never broken so you feel the texture of the egg slide down your throat, complemented by a splash of soy sauce and vinegar which provide a warm taste on your lips. After the drink starts to settle, you pick up the taste of green onions and the nutty flavors of sesame seeds. Wow! This drink is amazing! So amazing that the host and the kitchen help, both came to our table to watch us digest our featured drink. If your in the mood, you could easy kick back a few of these and satisfy your appetite and catch a buzz! We had ours made cold but this drink could be made with warm sake! This drink is a must try! -Luke
