As we all know, it's the bartender that really makes the difference when you order a drink. No two bartenders pour the same drink, they have their own personal style and we wouldn't ask for their secrets. Here at Tip Your Bartender we try to give you an accurate recipe for the drinks we sample but recipe’s do vary from bar and bartender.


I was at the TYB Headquarters, the Nut House in Palo Alto, CA, admiring their drink specials when the beautiful Kimberley was behind the bar. She’s been at Antonio’s for over six months, an excellent addition to a fabulous Nut House Crew. I was enticed by one her own concoctions, The Crack-Berri-Soda. She enthusiastically mixed up the cocktail in no time. Let me tell ya, she has mad skills and a great smile.

This drink was a light refreshing burst of delight, sort-of like a cool iced-tea on a sunny Sunday. Not as strong like a Long Island Iced Tea, but an adequate mix of flavor to alcohol providing another alternative to the boring vodka-cran. It wasn’t too sweet either, so it won’t kill you with a morning hang-over. The perfect spritzer for an interesting afternoon.
