As we all know, it's the bartender that really makes the difference when you order a drink. No two bartenders pour the same drink, they have their own personal style and we wouldn't ask for their secrets. Here at Tip Your Bartender we try to give you an accurate recipe for the drinks we sample but recipe’s do vary from bar and bartender.

Chocolate Cake

Scale ingredients to servings
1 oz vodka
1 oz Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
Slice of Lemon with Sugar

Stir over ice, strain into a double sized shot glass or serve on the rocks. Chase with lemon slice with sugar.

The Chocolate Cake is a decadent dessert. The crisp nutty note from the Frangelico is offset perfectly with the vodka. The slice of lemon with sugar is the frosting on the cake. I would image this would be the ideal after dinner party nightcap, surely to please your guests.

 

 

 

The Green Demon

1 oz vodka
1 oz rum
.5 oz Midori
1 oz Lemonade

Stir over ice, strain into a double sized shot glass or serve on the rocks.

This drink has to be one of the worst we have ever featured on Tip Your Bartender. It is so sweet and nasty we couldn't finish it. Midori and Lemonade together is a crime. The Green Demon is a actually vomiting headache. As you can see, our TYB bartender Michelle agrees.
